OAR Street Team Frequently Asked Questions How do I sign up for the street team (ST)? You can sign up by either clicking on the ST sign-up section in the navigation bar on this page, or by going to www.ofarevolution.com and clicking on the community link. How do I get the password for the forums? Once you sign up for the ST, you will automatically be sent an email welcoming you to the team along with the password for the forums. What are the forums for? The forums are a way for the Everfine Team to communicate with you, and a way for STeamers to communicate with each other. News, updates, and contest information will be provided regularly. What is in it for me for being on the street team? Everyday we are constantly trying to come up with new and exciting contests and prizes. We know this is a commitment for many of you and we pride ourselves in rewarding your hard work (tickets to a show, meeting the band, autographed items, etc.). How do I get entered into the contests and prizes? Because we can’t follow you when you promote, we rely on your feedback. On the navigation bar on this page, you will see a "ST Reports" link. By filling out your name, address, and contact info, along with what places you hit and pictures... we will be able to see all that you have done! And by doing reports periodically, you will be eligible to enter in for the contests and prizes. When will I know what the contests and/or prizes are? That is what the O.A.R. and Everfine forum is for. We will continue to post in the forum the latest contests. You will have up to date information on the current contest and see what you need to do to be eligible. How do I get started? If you are already a member of the ST, you are all ready to go! To request materials for either a show date or just to promote in your area, you will find the "SWAG Request" link on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Fill out all the necessary information and your materials will be out sent out soon after we receive it. What is "SWAG"? SWAG is slang for street promotional materials. You will see this term used often and it just merely means what items you receive to promote. SWAG can be anything from posters, postcards, samplers, stickers, pens, etc. What do I do with my SWAG? If you have selected a show date to promote, we will provide you with a HitList. If you have selected to promote in your area, the best thing to do is hit up the following places... Concerts College campuses Coffee shops Bars Music stores Trendy clothing shops Skate shops Smoke shops Festivals Bookstores Any store with heavy traffic and a bulletin board What is a HitList? A HitList is a guideline that we have taken the time to provide for you. It is just a starting point for you to promote in your area. Included in the HitLists are concerts (where a potential O.A.R. fan may attend) and music stores we feel would be beneficial to promote in. What if I have something to add to the HitList? Great! Send it on to me and I will be sure it is added to the list. (Rachael@everfinerecords.com) What else do I use to promote besides what is in my SWAG pack? There are other things that can be used besides your SWAG to promote. In the navigation bar on this page, if you click on "flyer Machine", you are able to print out flyers according to the show date(s) you are promoting. What is a "flyer Machine"? A flyer machine is an area where we house our tour flyers that can be printed out. In the flyer machine you can sort through the flyers to find your show date and print out as many as you like! This way you can promote O.A.R. without necessarily receiving the SWAG. When will I receive my SWAG? Your request will be processed almost once it is received. If you have requested material for a show date, the materials will arrive at your doorstep no later than 2 weeks prior to the show. If you have requested materials for your area, you should receive them no later than 10 days after your request. What should I do if I have SWAG left over? Please try to pass out all your materials. Don’t ever let them just sit in your room. Try to leave a pile of stickers/samplers/postcards at your local coffee shop or record store. Anything will help!
